- Reduction of work place hazards
- Decrease of extensive manual lubrication
- Reduction of work in difficult to access places due to extended preventive maintenance schedules

| Time & Resource Efficiency |
A growing reason for moving away from manual greasing to automated solutions is the need to implement safer work methods. The increasing rate of adoption of perma automated systems can deliver greasing time reductions of around 80%. This translates to 80% less exposure to possible work place accidents associated with manual greasing.
perma recommends that the time liberated from manual greasing tasks, by the introduction of perma automated systems, be invested into other value adding maintenance and condition monitoring practices. |

Simple Safety Statistics
|
Use perma to avoid repetitive strain injury. A perma STAR VARIO 250cc lubricator set to 6 months will deliver 0.5cc of grease every 4 hours and 30 minutes over the 6 month period. To deliver the same volume of grease using a typical pistol grip manual grease gun a technician would need to complete around 360 pumps. Meanwhile, if a typical lever action gun was used around 180 pumps would be required.
When compared to manual lubrication perma can also greatly reduce the risk of accidents. When lubrication is needed in hard to reach locations, which require lifting platforms, scaffolds, etc., humans are put at risk. For example at an incineration plant where equipment runs 48 weeks per year, lubrication points must be lubricated once per week. perma lubrication systems automatically lubricate the equipment and must only be exchanged once per year. The danger risk of manual lubrication is 48 times (once for each greasing), compared to just 1 time with perma (exchange of unit). That is a danger risk reduction of almost 98%! |

Remote Mounting for Safer Lubrication
|
|
Another safety related benefit associated with the correct use of perma automatic lubricators is the opportunity to remote mount products such as the perma STAR VARIO and the PRO MP-6 in order to locate the lubricator at a safe and easy to access location.
